is a queer, feminist DJ, VJ and artist collective. It was founded in 2014 by DJ double u cc. Trouble in Paradise wants to celebrate and fight - both at the same time. By organising club nights and festivals centring around femxle empowerment, the vision and mission of TIP was not just to claim a seat at the table - but to create a completely new room.
Instead of representing an untouchable and glamorous collective, we decided to show the mess and chaos we have to fight our way through during the shoot. Also to break through the sacred aura of a DJ and convey that any of us could do this.
