Look At That Beauty

The installation tells my humorous story of how I tried to customize the design of my 125cc Honda motorcycle to match my own perceptions of beauty and standards. The video shows an Instagram story of the design process. While I am painting the vehicle with paint and varnish, hydro-dipping its flanks and sanding out scars, I am recovering from an accident at the same time.

It's about the research process and the possibilities to tune my body and my motorcycle. After finishing the redesigned bike, I pose next to it. I wear matching nails and hair. My face cannot be seen in the pictures because the Femxle-Body is often used for advertising and is reduced to its design / appearance.
